Ricardo Moody is a native of Orlando, Florida. A self-taught artist, he received his Bachelor of Arts in graphic design from the Art Institute of Colorado in 2004. In addition to several murals throughout Hattiesburg, his murals can be seen throughout the Southeastern United States, including the Atlanta BeltLine. Moody has exhibited work with the Colorado Pastel Society, Paper Fools Group Show in Long Beach, Mississippi, and most recently the 2024 National Juried Painting Exhibition at The University of Southern Mississippi. Moody is represented by The Caron Gallery, in Laurel and Tupelo, Mississippi. His work can also be found at 30A Gallery in Grayton Beach, Florida, and The Gallery Shop at New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art, University of Southern Indiana. Ricardo was  interviewed for an Arts and Culture spotlight on VSCO, and was a featured artist on HGTV’s Season 7, Episode 8 of Hometown. Currently, Ricardo is an art teacher at Presbyterian Christian School and works out of his home studio in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. See and purchase his works at ricardomoody.com.
