CELEBRATION - The 2025 FestivalSouth Commemorative Artwork by Ricardo Moody

Every year, FestivalSouth® celebrates its upcoming season by inviting an artist to create an original work that represents the month long event through their creativity and vision. This artist, along with their featured commemorative artwork, is given the opportunity to showcase their art with an exclusive exhibition that is showcased for the length of the festival. This year, our featured FestivalARTIST, Ricardo Moody, created a piece titled “Celebration”.  This work brings to life his unique style by combining his modern, stylistic realism along with the bold, attention-grabbing color palette he uses when he creates.  

This 32 by 40-inch vertical canvas painting is now being auctioned, with all proceeds going to support local artists and arts education programs. These funds help ensure that artists have a platform to showcase their incredible artistic abilities and help foster the next generation of creatives in our area.  The auction continues now through 7:00pm CST on June 21, 2025.  The winner will be announced that same evening at our FestivalFinale at the Saenger Theatre at 7:30 pm.  You need not be present to win.
